About the CDC

McComb-Veazey Neighborhood CDC

Building on the successes of the Coterie, the McComb-Veazey Neighborhood Community Development Corporation (CDC) was incorporated as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The CDC functions as the organizational and financial vehicle to implement the priorities identified by residents through the Coterie. As a nonprofit entity, the CDC manages grants, owns property, coordinates development projects, and builds strategic partnerships with government, philanthropy, and the private sector. Its role is to transform the vision set by residents into sustainable programs, housing opportunities, and cultural and economic investments that strengthen the neighborhood.
